WBSCVET – Recruitment 2019, Admit Card & Results | Vocational Course

WBSCVET refers to the West Bengal State Council of Vocational & Educational Training. This Statutory body was owned by the West Bengal State Government as of Act XXVI of 2013.

The Online portal of the WBSCVET or also referred to as WBSCTVESD aims at “Convergence and Dissemination of Information” and “Convergence and Simplification of Process“.

The Main objective of the portal is to get beneficial to candidates, Trainees, Training Institutes, Employers, Placement Agencies, Labour Contractors, Job Providers, Self-Employed Persons, and even to a Common and normal citizen.

Below we cover the different courses offered by WBSCVET and latest recruitment notifications.


WBSCVET – Different Courses & Latest Recruitment


West Bengal State Council WBSCVET has so much to offer to the candidates, trainees, employers if they register in this programme. Coming to the academic section of this WBSCVET, there are several sub-categories in which some of them are listed in below.

  • VIII + /X+ (STC Level)
  • Special Programme
  • 10+2 (2 yrs HS Programme)

Each course has their different disciplines and different subjects in each discipline. All the details regarding the Subjects and Courses offered by the WBSCVET are listed on their official website.

VIII +/X + (STC level):

This course offered by the West Bengal State Council can be of 6 months or 1 year based on the candidate interest. The following list is the various disciplines which are offered under this course.

  • Business & Commerce (BC)
  • Paramedical (PM)

10+2 (2 Yrs HS Programme):

There are about 4 disciplines which are offered to the candidates or trainees by the State Council. And there are many groups under these disciplines. All of those groups under each discipline will be tabulated as shown below. as per official website WBSCVET.

WBSCVET – Examination & Results


Candidates attending the above courses or registered to those shall have to perform well in the Examinations which will be conducted by the WBSCVET itself at the end of each course. The notice and circulars regarding these examinations will be announced.

The Academic Calendar is also available on the official website for each course. As of now, the academic calendars are to be updated soon enough in no time. Also, candidates can check out the Examination related circulars on the Website.

The below procedure explains how to check the results of the recently attending examination by the candidates.

  • Visit the Official website – http://www.wbscvet.nic.in/.
  • On the Home page, click on the “Examination Result” tab.
  • You will be redirected to a page as shown in the image above.
  • Enter your Roll Number in the text column and click on “Submit” Button.

The Results of your Examination will be displayed on the following page. If you entered a Wrong Roll Number you can still clear that by clicking on the “Reset” button.

Note: Provisional Results of WBSCTVESD have been published here with a view to provide immediate information to the examinees. These can not be treated as original Mark Sheets.

Online Student Registration


Students or Employers getting Registered into the programme is so easy with the Online portal of WBSCVET. Just follow the steps below to login into the Registration & Examination Enrollment Portal.

  • Go to the official website of WBSCVET with an above-mentioned link.
  • Click on the “Online Student Registration & Enrollment Centre” button on the Homepage.
  • You have to click on “Ok” button on the tab followed.
  • You will be redirected to another page where you can find Log in portal.

The Login portal will appear as shown in the above image. Students have to type in the User ID and Password to log in to the portal. If it is difficult to go through this procedure the student can just click the link here – http://www.wbscvetpps.org.in/register/.

Students can also get the Old Question papers of each and every examination from the official website. This consists of Questions papers of years 2010 & 2011.

  • Just visit the official website and on homepage go to the right menu tabs.
  • Click on the “Examination” which will open up subcategories.
  • Click on the “Old Question Papers” from the drop-down menu.

On the following page, you can be able to view the old question papers dated 2010 & 2011 side by side. You can view or download any of those Question papers of any discipline or any course or any group.
